When does the brand pay the creator?

When the contract is signed, the brand’s card is charged in full and the money is held securely with Stripe. Spongle never holds it. The creator delivers their content and the brand approves it, then the creator’s fee is released once the campaign has been fulfilled and the chargeback protection window has closed (seven working days for card, twelve for bank transfer). From there the fee is released into the creator’s Stripe account on the next anchored Monday, and Stripe then pays it out automatically to their linked bank, usually within a few business days. There’s nothing to claim or withdraw by hand. Spongle never takes a cut of the creator’s fee; it’s paid by the brand on top. If the brand rejects a deliverable, the collaboration ends and the creator fee is refunded to the brand — nothing is published.

Do creators have to withdraw their earnings?

No. When a fee is released it lands in the creator’s Stripe account, and Stripe then automatically pays it out to their linked bank account. There’s nothing to claim or transfer by hand. That Stripe account is the secure, verified link to the creator’s bank: they set it up once (a quick identity check plus their bank details, which Spongle never sees), and every payout after that runs on its own.

There are no fixed rate cards, and the creator keeps 100% of the fee they agree — the Spongle service fee is paid by the brand on top.

What happens to a campaign post after it goes live?

Once the post is published, Spongle checks that it stays live through the campaign. If the post is taken down, the creator gets a window to restore it; if it is not restored, the creator fee is refunded to the brand. The brand does not have to monitor it themselves.

If a brand and creator disagree about a delivered post, there is a clear, time-limited process for both sides to resolve it directly, with reminders so nothing drifts. The payment stays held until it is settled.

Yes. A creator can edit their pitch while it is still under review, and can withdraw it any time before the contract is signed. Nothing locks a creator in before the agreement is signed.

Spongle is free to post a campaign. The Free plan charges 15% per booking. Pro is EUR99 per month (or EUR79 per month annual) and charges 10% per booking. No listing fees, no long-term contracts.

Spongle accepts brands and creators across the UK, the European Economic Area, and the United States. Payouts are supported into UK, EEA, US, Canadian, and Swiss bank accounts.
